OUTFEST 2018 OFFICIAL SELECTION
We are honored to announce that I'm just here has been officially selected to World Premiere at Outfest 2018! It will be screening in the "Emerging Voices" category on July 21st, 2018 in West Hollywood.
Founded by UCLA students in 1982, Outfest is the leading organization that promotes LGBTQ equality by creating, sharing and protecting LGBTQ stories on the screen. Outfest builds community by connecting diverse populations to discover, discuss and celebrate stories of LGBTQ lives. Over the past three decades Outfest has showcased thousands of films from around the world, educated and mentored hundreds of emerging filmmakers and protected more than 20,000 LGBTQ films and videos. Outfest is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
A brief synopsis
A suicide helpline operator finds herself in a personal crisis over a pivotal phone call from a young queer woman.
The Awareness Film Festival
The Awareness Film Festival is organized by Heal One World, a non-profit charity serving the community surrounding West Pico blvd in Los Angeles, California.
As well as serving as a fundraiser, the mission of the Awareness Film Festival is to inform and inspire audiences through a program of films on Ecological, Political, Health/Well Being and Spiritual topics. We are honored to have the opportunity to spotlight film-makers committed to making positive change throughout the world.
We showcase both Documentary and Narrative Features,as well as Short Films, Music Videos and Public Service Announcements. Our events include film-maker Q&A’s, film-maker Panels,as well as conscious art and music.
Any net profits from this event will go completely to charity, including our partner organizations.
